German Trützschler Line & Through-Air Bonding Physics
How autolevelled high-precision carding and dual-temperature convection bonding deliver CV < 2.5% web weight uniformity and sub-second fluid acquisition.
German Trützschler Nonwovens Line (Acquired April 2019)
Trützschler Nonwovens is globally recognized as the gold standard in carding and web formation. Our high-precision production line in Sanming integrates an autoleveller carding machine equipped with real-time gamma-ray mass density scanning.
- ✓ Web Uniformity (CV < 2.5%): Autoleveller adjusts feed roll speed in milliseconds, eliminating cross-directional thickness variations and thin spots.
- ✓ 0.8D Ultra-Fine Carding: Gently combs delicate 0.8D-1.0D filaments without fiber fragmentation, creating feather-soft hand feel.
- ✓ High Converter Speeds: High MD tensile strength ensures continuous runnability at 800+ meters/minute with zero web breakage.
The Science of Sheath-Core ES Fiber Thermal Bonding
ES (Ethylene-Propylene) bicomponent fibers consist of two distinct polymers co-extruded together with differing melting temperatures:
As hot air penetrates the web drum, the PE sheath melts and flows into contact junctions, forming chemical-free physical thermal weld points that feel cloud-soft.
The high-modulus PP core remains entirely solid, acting as an elastic 3D spring skeleton that prevents channel collapse under 50kPa body pressure.
Result: 100% mechanical bonding with zero latex adhesives, zero volatile chemicals, and complete hypoallergenic purity certified under OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1.
In-House QA & Sensory Testing Laboratory
Every production roll is tested for liquid strike-through time, rewet weight under pressure, and tensile elongation before release.
Liquid Strike-Through Tester (EDANA 150.9)
Measures fluid penetration time for 5ml of standard physiological saline solution. Our 0.8D CloudSilk consistently clocks in at ≤ 1.1 seconds.
High-Pressure Rewet Weight Rig (EDANA 151.3)
Simulates infant movement and adult seating under 4.0 kPa sustained load. Rewet values remain below 0.04g, preventing liquid backward migration.
DSC Differential Scanning Calorimetry
Verifies thermal polymer transition points to ensure exact 130°C/165°C bicomponent balance across seasonal raw resin batches.
